THE MAKING OF YOUR LIMITED EDITION GICLÉE PRINT

The word GICLÉE (zhee-clay) is French for "to spray" the ink.

Developed exclusively for fine art printmaking, the revolutionary technology has made this type of printing possible.

You will find Limited Edition Giclée prints in museum collections,

art galleries, and private and public art collections.

GICLÉES afford the collector the truest colors, which are

highly saturated to replicate the original painting.

This state of the art fine art technology produces much truer prints

than offset lithography, and is fast becoming the choice of

artists, galleries and art collectors alike.

In preparing an original painting for the print process,

Susan works closely with Master Fine Art Printmaker, Maroun Sahyoun

at Opus Editions. After her original painting is captured digitally, she

and Maroun select the ideal image from a series of Artist's Proofs (APs).

That image then becomes the "master" from which the Limited Edition

print edition is produced.

Susan's Limited Edition Giclée prints are made on archival, acid-free

Somerset rag papers. Each print is then finished with a UV protective

coating to ensure against fading and years of longevity.

Each individual print is then hand signed and numbered. An Artists' Bio and

Certification of Edition Number accompanies your print.

Susan has limited her editions on Somerset paper to just 100 per size.

After a limited edition series on paper is sold out, no more editions

of that print will be available as a limited edition Giclée on paper.
